VR MMORPG游戲《Zenith》開發(fā)商Ramen VR獲Y Combinator投資

使用Oculus Quest、Nreal Light看籃球賽，日本軟銀推動5G+VR/AR應(yīng)用落地

2020年，5G將正式開始商用，其實從今年開始各大運營商就已經(jīng)加緊部署，全球公司都想搶在第一時間分得第一杯羹。

8月22日-25日軟銀（Softbank）在埼玉縣超級圓形競技場中舉辦的日本代表國際籃球賽上，結(jié)合5G，VR/AR也在這個舞臺中大放異彩。

現(xiàn)場部署了5G網(wǎng)絡(luò)，并設(shè)置了VR/AR體驗場地，被選中的幸運觀眾可以在現(xiàn)場使用VR/AR設(shè)備進行觀賽。

現(xiàn)場提供了兩種設(shè)備以供使用——Oculus Quest VR一體機以及Nreal Light MR眼鏡。其中使用了軟銀的體育觀賽平臺LiVR。

與往常一樣，觀眾可以在離賽場最近的3個點近距離觀賽，并且還能看到周圍的虛擬化身，聽到他們說話。Oculus Quest自帶6Dof定位，用戶可以在其中跟其他觀眾揮手打招呼。不只是琦玉的超級圓形競技場，身處六本木的其他觀眾也可以在線一同觀看，臨場感非常強。

另一方面，使用Nreal Light MR設(shè)備的觀眾，現(xiàn)場可以體驗兩個Demo。跟剛剛的VR一樣，觀眾也可以通過MR眼鏡進行觀戰(zhàn)，同時也能看到周圍的其他虛擬化身。

另外一個Demo中，通過掃描桌上的籃球二維碼，能看到迷你尺寸的選手在桌上運動的樣子。

除了VR/AR之外，用戶還可以選擇自己喜歡的視角進行觀戰(zhàn)，近距離觀看選手的動作。

Nreal Light計劃2020年春季發(fā)售，在日本已與KDDI建立合作，雖然目前尚未公布與Softbank合作的消息，近期公布的可能性非常大。

VR MMORPG游戲《Zenith》開發(fā)商Ramen VR獲Y Combinator投資

近日消息，據(jù)外媒報道VR MMORPG游戲《Zenith》的開發(fā)者Ramen VR獲得著名的種子加速器公司Y Combinator投資，具體金額未透露。

Y Combinator是一家專門投資早期創(chuàng)業(yè)團隊的投資公司，曾經(jīng)投資拖Twitch、Reddit、Airbnb等等知名企業(yè)。而Ramen VR是Y Combinator投資的為數(shù)不多的VR公司的其中一家。

Ramen VR 所開發(fā)的《Zenith》是一款賽博朋克風格的MMORPG VR游戲，主要亮點在于大型開放世界以及從Beat Saber獲得靈感所涉及的戰(zhàn)斗系統(tǒng)等等，預計上線日期為2020年8月。

《Zenith》將適配Valve Index、HTC VIVE、PS VR，據(jù)稱也會適配Oculus系列的頭顯，不過具體型號暫未透露，官方頁面中記錄了Oculus Quest，推測未來可能推出該版本。除了VR版之外，該作品還將同步推出PC版本。

據(jù)Ramen VR稱，今后6個月之內(nèi)將進行Alpha測試，9月內(nèi)計劃進行Beta測試。

據(jù)了解，該游戲目前也在Kickstarter進行眾籌，計劃眾籌25000美元，截止到目前已經(jīng)融到16.6萬美元，遠超預期。

2019年8月上線PC VR、Oculus Quest等移動端、PSVR的VR游戲一覽

2019年，VR游戲呈現(xiàn)出新的熱度，新作上線數(shù)量上升，特別是Oculus Quest發(fā)售后諸多開發(fā)者也開始適配該平臺。

據(jù)統(tǒng)計，2019年8月已上線（包括即將上線）的適配Oculus Rift、HTC Vive、Valve Index、Windows MR設(shè)備的游戲共計57款；Oculus Quest、Oculus GO、Gear VR等移動端平臺的游戲共計19款，其中6款游戲適配Oculus Quest；PS VR平臺的VR游戲6款。
