調(diào)制和編碼對(duì)超寬帶接收機(jī)性能改善的比較

平均發(fā)射參考（ATR）調(diào)制技術(shù)和前向糾錯(cuò)（FEC）編碼技術(shù)都能通過(guò)增加冗余信號(hào)改善超寬帶（UWB）自相關(guān)接收機(jī)的檢測(cè)性能。為了研究在相同的冗余度下哪一種技術(shù)能提供更好的改善效果，本文比較了ATR調(diào)制系統(tǒng)和BCH 編碼DPSK 系統(tǒng)在多徑信道下的性能。經(jīng)過(guò)理論分析和IEEE 多徑信道仿真表明：ATR 調(diào)制技術(shù)在遠(yuǎn)距離低信噪比時(shí)更有優(yōu)勢(shì)，但只能在參考信號(hào)個(gè)數(shù)較少時(shí)改善性能；FEC 編碼技術(shù)則在近距離高信噪比時(shí)改善誤碼率和降低碼間串?dāng)_更為明顯。

Abstract: Both averaged transmitted-reference (ATR) modulation technique and forward error correction (FEC) coding technique can improve the performance of Ultra-wideband (UWB) autocorrelation receiver by adding some redundant signals. In order to study which technique can provide much better improvement with the same amount of redundancy, a performance comparison between ATR modulation system and BCH coded DPSK system in a multipath channel was made in this paper. The two systems were analyzed in theory and simulated in
the IEEE multipath channel model. The results show that ATR modulation technique has more superiority at low Eb/N0 (far distance) situation, but only raise the performance at small reference signal numbers; At high Eb/N0 (near distance) situation, FEC coding technique has better bit error rate and can reduce ISI more remarkable.
